‘Saahas Ekta’ is an umbrella project that seeks the participation of organisations within the community, intending to identify, visualise, strategize and develop diverse livelihood-centric vocational models and practices that are not only sustainable but also promote convergence with the economics affecting individuals and that of collective growth.
The mandate of Saahas Ekta, thus, is to craft and organize workshops, events, seminars and allied capacity building programs; promote these as means to facilitate effective platforms of industry; highlight inclusive vocational practices that are both developmental and industrial in nature; adapt industry-led best practices and encourage varied skill sets, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities and further a sense of enquiry and motivation in marginalized populations.
