Planting flowers that can be later dried and used as crafts are a better garden investment – Aruna.
It was wonderful to know how dried flowers can be used for making homemade candles, paper craft, soaps and a variety of other handicrafts. Team ‘Saahas’ had a great learning experience with Aruna who demonstrated techniques of drying flowers, knowing about the most suitable botanical categories, storage, labelling, preparation of natural dyes, the use of paintbrush (emphasis on the freehand painting with a thought of abundance) and converting them to the paper craft.
