‘Saahas Foundation’ follows the spirit of inclusion by encouraging and practising engagement of institutions and communities with diverse capabilities and excellence in a variety of skill, vocational, exposure, awareness and knowledge exchange activities. Through such exchange programmes, it is deemed to achieve convergence with like-minded academia, institutions, industries and communities; promoting mainstreaming of the persons with special needs in a conducive manner and environment.
Saahas associates received a hearty welcome at the prestigious Rashtriya Indian Military College (R.I.M.C.) as a component of the scheduled industrial tour to R.I.M.C. with an offering to demonstrate their inhouse, cadet-run recycled paper production plant. Team Saahas was later during the visit were briefly taken through the activities while the cadets were engaged in art and craftwork, sculpture, practice shooting range, aeromodelling – displaying not just the approach and determination towards the task but also a strong sense of compassion and communication during the activity demonstration.
